Roberto Chale, es una vez más entrenador de Universitario de Deportes en reemplazo de Luis Fernando Suárez.
Ante la mala campaña de Luis Fernando Suárez con Universitario, la Directiva de Universitario negoció y rescindió la cláusula de contrato en buenos términos.
Ante esta situación, Roberto Chale, es el nuevo flamante entrenador de Universitario de Deportes hasta diciembre.
