Más entendidos en la materia de sismos y terremotos predicen que esperan un terremoto de mayor magnitud en norte de Chile y el Sur del Perú.
Marcelo Lagos, un geógrafo ya predijo el terremoto de 8.3 grados en Chile, advierte que puede existir un terremoto de mayor intensidad en la zona.
Arturo Belmonte, en declaraciones al Diario ‘La Cuarta‘, geógrafo del Departamento de GeofÃsica de la Universidad de Concepción, comparte la opinión Marcelo Lagos: “Este no es el gran evento esperado […], quedan cuatro metros de desplazamiento que en términos estrictos, y en una forma muy bruta de decirlo, equivale a un terremoto de la misma magnitudâ€.
Todos indican que la zona más afectada será el Norte de Chile y el Sur del Perú.
